I never put copyrights before but hell, I might just begin now before describing the piece.
So: Copyright belongs to Hasbro, the awesome team of MLP:FiM, the guys that made the Pioneer plaque (proudly telling evil aliens where to aim their cannons at since 1972) and, well, me I guess.
That said, here it is, the EqD December Draw-off submission aka An Avenue of Lost Tales (which is a pretty damn suggestive music piece - look it up - and a tribute to my friend ~KeinZantezuken).
There's a whole lot of stuff in this thing here, and I'd love to leave all the interpretations to you guys because hey, what's better than finding your own inspirations and little stories in art pieces? Just to clarify the Pioneer plaque rip-off: being this an alternate Earth setting (there, you made me go and ruin your own interpretation like 15 words after declaring my good intentions) the Pioneer thingy applies as well. And while I'm well aware that on the original the pulsars are meant to triangulate earth's position, you can also calculate the time of the creation of the plaque from the pulsar periods indicated on the plaque itself. So in this case I meant it in a time sense and not in a space sense.
Thank you, I'm particularly fond of this one. It's not particularly beautiful, or well executed, but I had put a lot of thought in it. It's something I've sadly lost a bit over the time.
i know that feel when i look at older drawings... but yeah that's rare to find an artwork that could tell any kind of story, even if it's around that goddamned pony cartoon. and the details really make it. i dig the idea of a plate representing the location of the pony world in the universe, that would make one of these poor human explorers lost understand how they ended here. "...it was earth all along !"
I find it an interesting coincidence that the creature that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are confronting in the second row from the top has a close resemblance to the Changeling Queen Chrysalis, and yet this epic picture was made some time before the changelings were revealed.

I feel an aura of LoZ and Mass Effect for some reason.
Probably the suit colors and ancient writing on the tablet milking my gamer imagination.
A great piece of art in general.
