What's this? No ponies?

Aye, I was bored today and decided that perhaps I could go and try my hand at something different from the usual.

And here it is, a very quick rendition of a fantasy bird ancestor. I used no specific references for it, I guess I just had a lot of dinosaur and bird imagery floating around in my head. Before the Great Pony Era descended upon us, drawing beasts and animals was a great favourite of mine (well, it still is).

Oh, I slapped some paper texture I found on the internet to make the background less boring. It was on a free image host site, so I really don't know who to credit. Thank you paper guy!

That is amazing! I love dinosaur art and this is very good. I believe it's an archeopteryx or something, too. Out of curiosity...would I be able to adopt him?

Hehe, it's ok. ^^ I've got experience with bitey lil critters. XD Thank you very much. I'll let you know when I'm able to get more pictures done of him. :D
