So, after conflicting for a good while with one of my usual ambitious projects, I got fed up with it, put it away and went for something simple instead for a change.

This is the result (which took me no less than ten days anyway, 'cos I'm that quick at painting, yup yup). It's the coloured version of one of the sketches I made for the last EqD ATG, actually the one I liked the most among them.

So, as much as I was satisfied with the sketch and lineart, I'm really not very satisfied with the coloured outcome, as in I think it's probably cool and all, but I'm sure it could have been done two or three thousand times better than this.
I've been told a more cel shaded, comic style colouring would have worked better, and I agree. I've been also told it would need more contrast and shadowing to enhance shapes and details, and I guess it is also true.
But everything was pretty much finished already and I'd honestly like to move on and colour something else, so here it is.
